Art Cart activities form part of the Experimenta Make Sense: International Triennial of Media Art exhibition.

Inviting young creatives to see their own artwork come to life in an animated scene, Steven Berrick’s participatory drawing project Hello Future Self transforms hand-drawn artworks into digital animation.  The artwork’s scanning technology is presented in a way that is simple to use and approachable, which encourages young participants to engage without assistance.

Hello Future Self explores our increasingly augmented world by allowing participants to create an avatar that unites human and robotic senses.  How will you alter your avatar’s body to prepare for human technology integration and which sense would you prioritise?
