This is a lovely place for a walk, a picnic or playtime. Tranquil bushland just a few minutes from the township of Churchill with a walking track along Eel Hole Creek.

At the south end of the lake, are the remains of an original homestead, known as Hare’s Farmhouse with an adjacent Koori Garden with plants that the local Gunaikurnai clan have used for thousands of years. There are also 11 totem poles decorated with Gunaikurnai artwork.
