Australian Netball Championships

The inaugural Australian Netball Championships will land in Traralgon between 22 – 28 August, launching a new-look pathway competition for emerging national talent.


The championships will be fought out between 10 teams from state and territory Member Organisations and Suncorp Super Netball League clubs, and replaces the former Australian Netball League.


Latrobe City Council in partnership with the Collingwood Magpies will host the tournament-style event at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium in Traralgon.

The confirmed teams that will compete include:

  • Tasmania
  • Capital Darters
  • Queensland Sapphires
  • Victorian Fury
  • Giants Academy
  • QBE Swifts Academy
  • West Coast Fever Reserves
  • Sunshine Coast Lightning
  • Southern Force


Fans are able to attend the final 2 days (27 & 28 August) of action LIVE! All day tickets go on sale from Monday August 1 at 10am.


Saturday 27 schedule
Doors open from 11am, with the last game starts at 7pm. Tickets are valid all day.

Sunday 28 schedule
Doors open from 8:30am, with the Gold match kicking off at 2:15pm. Tickets are valid all day.

The 2022 Australian Netball Championships will be available to watch live, on-demand and free via Kayo Freebies, as part of the new era of netball on Fox Sports.
