Emerging from Fire Photographic Exhibition

Kindly loaned to Old Gippstown from Cardinia Council, this exhibition is a visual reflection of the 2019 Bunyip Complex Fires, which directly affected the communities of Tynong North, Garfield North, Bunyip North, and Tonimbuk.
The exhibition features photographs taken by community members and first responders of the fire’s response, relief and recovery efforts.
Opening 25th September at 2pm (with talks by the Moe Fire Brigade representatives and Lindsay McNaught who was impacted by the devastating 2019 Bunyip Complex Fires)
Then open daily from 10am – 4pm until 12th October.
At Old Gippstown, Lloyd Street, Moe
Entry is Gold Coin donation.

‘Looking Glass’ is an exhibition which brings together two of Australia’s most acclaimed artists – Waanyi artist, Judy Watson and Koatha and Nukunu artist Yhonnie Scarce. At its heart, the exhibition is both a love song and a lament for Country, a fantastical alchemy of the elemental forces of earth, water, fire, and air.
