Junior Ranger Flora Explorer – Tarra-Bulga National Park

Take a journey of discovery in Tarra-Bulga National Park, where towering tall forests shelter rare pockets of rainforest that provide food and shelter for many species of birds and animals. Learn how to identify common native plants and even rarer ones like the Slender Tree Fern.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.

Please meet at Bulga Picnic Area, located on Bulga Picnic Area Road, Balook.

Please note that we are running all of our Junior Ranger activities in strict accordance with DHHS guidelines to minimise the risk of Covid transmission. This includes restrictions on group sizes, as well as adherence to social distancing and hygiene related guidelines.  While these measures are aimed at minimising the risk of Covid transmission, you acknowledge that you are participating in these activities at your own risk.
